British casino operator MrQ has signed a back-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with Sheffield Wednesday. The deal was announced on August 10, 2026, and takes effect as the Sky Bet League One club begins its 2026-27 fixtures.

The collaboration includes fan engagement activities scheduled at Hillsborough stadium. Adam Ryan, chief commercial and marketing officer at MrQ, stated: "We promise to bring entertainment, win or lose, and back the club through whatever comes next." Sheffield Wednesday chief executive officer David Bruce confirmed that the arrangement supports the organization's broader development plans.
The operator previously secured a sleeve sponsorship with Premier League club Bournemouth and launched the Qoins currency earlier this year. MrQ also holds the front-of-shirt sponsorship rights for Queens Park Rangers during the current campaign.
